Overview

The Dispensary Manager is responsible for providing an outstanding patient experience while maximizing revenue goals, leading the management and development of the dispensary staff, and ensuring compliance with all inventory, operations, and system protocols.  They should have a genuine passion for the cannabis industry and the well-being of its patients.  Candidates must have strong training and communication skills, and should be able to manage projects from inception to completion. The DM will ensure that patients’ needs and expectations are met through optimal product selection and top-notch customer service.  Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, be a strong people developer, should be action oriented, and committed to the highest level of service.

 

Reports to: General Manager/ Executive Committee

Position Responsibilities:

Manage and motivate a high level of service and productivity amongst store team.
Displays strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management abilities.
Motivating, training, and coaching to ensure employees are learning and developing to their fullest potential.
Protecting company assets, implementing and executing all company programs and expectations.
Develops training and reinforces service, product, operations and management expectations through training and development of the store team.
Recruit, hire, and maintain a core staff that is reflective of the Solevo Wellness  mission and brand values.
Ensures dispensary and personnel are in compliance with State regulations in all operations, processes, inventory management, and protocols.
Lead by example and hold your team accountable to service, operational, inventory standards, and policies in the store.
Meets and maintains all applicable budgets (sales plans, payroll, supplies, and store expenses)
Maintain vendor relations, product levels, and ordering supplies.

Patient Care Coordinator Daily Check-in & Checkout:
Ensures that Patient Care Consultants opening and closing duties are finished.
Review/ Raises
Cash Management / Banking Relations
Assists with reconciling cash/debit discrepancies with POS
Handles Patient concerns and resolves problems that the Patient Care Consultant is unable to.
Additional duties as requested.
 

Physical Demands and other Requirements:

This position requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping and stretching.
This position requires a normal range of hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, etc.
The position will require almost constant contact with patients, direct reports and manager.
 

Position Qualifications:

Has knowledge of Pennsylvania and Federal Medical Marijuana laws, Medical Marijuana effects, and conditions that can be treated through the use of Medical Marijuana.
Knowledge of POS systems (MJ Freeway)
Ability to use general office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Ability to multi-task with many diverse types of workloads in a hectic environment.
Minimum of three (3) years of Retail Store Management experience.
If Applicable, one (1) year of experience being a dispensary manager.
Proficient user of MS Office, IT, and basic computer skills.
Outstanding leadership, positive attitude, and organizational abilities.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Willing to work weekends, nights, and have a flexible work schedule.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with Team, patients and executive committee.
Must be organized and patient.
Ability to work under pressure without losing his or her composure.
Ability to meet the needs of Patients and Team without constant supervision.
Ability to solve practical problems.
Maintain a warm and friendly personality.
21 years of age or older.
