Overview

A front-runner in the LED cultivation field is in search of a VP of Sales to direct and support the gainful financial development of the business.

Location: Texas

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the comprehensive success of sales group team nationwide
Manages all facets of sales related operations: account plans, forecasting revenue and expenses, establishing compensation plans and policies
Assists with implementation of marketing plans
Creates calculated sales campaigns and plans to help company achieve sales goals
Develop fruitful relationships with hydroponics industry frontrunners
Leads sales team with enthusiasm and gumption
Forecast sales number according to seasonality and market fluctuations
Assist with contractual negotiations
Spearhead hiring, training, and performance records for sales team
Maintain detailed records/metrics of sales performances
Travel extensively throughout the United States

Qualifications:

B.A. in Business or like field, M.B.A. strongly desired
5 years of experience managing a team of account managers
10 years of verifiable success in sales positions
Superb written and verbal communication
Leadership skills: ability to nurture motivation and enthusiasm in sales teams
Passion for horticulture and indoor gardening
Proficient with MS Word, Office, Excel
