Regional Sales Representative: Southern California

A rapidly-growing retail hydroponics store is looking for a sales representative to manage commercial cannabis cultivation accounts in Southern California. This is an exciting opportunity to exhibit cultivation, nutrient, and equipment knowledge in a sales role with a good base salary and excellent commissions.

Primary Responsibilities

Describes the benefits of an array of hydroponics equipment and nutrients

Coordinates intimately with marketing and sales teams

Establishes foothold for the retail chain in the commercial cultivation sector

Generates new customer base within business to business sales

Ensures client retention with careful consideration for established clientele

Accurately foresee changes in the marketplace

Understand competition and act accordingly

Engage the cannabis community with “outside the box” thinking

Work hand-in-hand with marketing teams in unified campaigns

Maintain detailed records/metrics of sales performances

Minimum Qualifications

Deep knowledge of hydroponics equipment and nutrients

Has established customer base and network in the cannabis industry

Motivated self-starter

5 years of experience in hydroponics industry sales strongly desired

B.A. in business or similar is a major plus

Managerial experience

Computer literacy: MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Passionate about indoor gardening/horticulture

Takes pride in meeting/surpassing sales goals
