Sales Representatives: LED Cultivation

A well-established LED lighting company is looking for motivated sales representatives based in Texas to travel throughout the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop existing accounts and strengthen client retention
  • Prospect new accounts
  • Accountable for all elements of the sales process from lead developments to close
  • Create sales plans for specified territory
  • Work hand-in-hand with customers on Q and A concerning cultivation
  • Communicate effectively showing in-depth product knowledge
  • Develop strong working relationship with marketing and customer support teams
  • Keep detailed records of prospecting, leads, and sales
  • Represent company at trade shows
  • Sell high-end lighting equipment as a “full-package” to customers by customizing needs to specific cultivation operations in food and cannabis production operations

Qualifications:

  • Three years of sales experience in the horticulture and/or lighting field.
  • BA in biology, horticulture, or similar field strongly desired
  • Familiarity with basic computer software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Self-Starter, Motivated
  • Articulate yet persuasive communication skills
  • Passion for horticulture, hydroponics, indoor gardening
  • Strong understanding of finance, construction, and engineering
  • Pre-established sales network strongly desired
